The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, proudly declared open the eagerly awaited 2nd Edition of the National Para Games, marking the commencement of an inspiring showcase of resilience, determination, and extraordinary sporting talent.

The National Para Games, a testament to inclusivity and support for athletes with disabilities, commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, attracting participants from various states across the nation. Dignitaries at the Opening Ceremony included the Honourable Minister for State for Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, the Directors of the Ministry and other sports directors from various states.

Senator John Owan Enoh concluded by encouraging spectators to witness and celebrate the remarkable sporting talents on display throughout the National Para Games.

He urged the public to join in honouring the achievements and determination of these exceptional athletes, whose commitment serves as an inspiration to all.
