Nigeria’s world record-breaking star, Tobi Amusan, will begin her fourth Diamond League title next year in China.
The Wanda Diamond League has released a detailed summary of which disciplines will be staged at each meeting during the 2024 season.
In 2024, the world’s best athletes will once again take the stage in athletics’ premier one-day series, competing at 15 meetings across four different continents.

The season is set to commence in Xiamen, China, on April 20, with the men’s 100m, women’s 200m, and both the 100m and 110m hurdles events taking centre stage.
Amusan made history as the second woman after USA’s Dawn Harper to win three consecutive Diamond League 100m hurdles titles last September in Oregon with a time of 12:33 seconds.

She won her first Diamond League trophy in 2021 in 12. Forty-two seconds and successfully defended the title in 2022 after dipping in 12. 29 seconds in Zurich.
In total, the 14 series meetings are each expected to host at least 14 Diamond disciplines. The 2024 Diamond League season will also see two changes in locations due to stadium renovations: the Rabat will be relocated to Marrakech, and the Shanghai meet will move to Suzhou.
