We didn’t belong to NNL – Nasarawa United Coach targets NPFL ticket

Head coach of Nasarawa United, Usman Adams has disclosed that his team didn’t belong to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Adams disclosed after his team defeated Zamfara United in NNL opener in Lafia.

He continued that his team started on a great note and they will leverage on the game to improve.

He said, “I am glad we won the match today, despite the slim victory, because what matters most are the three points, which we got today.

“In all honesty, we have started well, we will continue to improve as the games progress.

“Our next game is against EFCC FC of Abuja, and it may interest you to note that in my life as a Coach, I have never lost to them(EFCC FC), whatever!

“So, we await the D-day to come to showcase what we can do as a people, to move out of where we find ourselves today because this is not where we belong.

“Officiating was excellent, and I wish this could be the standard, going forward.”
