Dannaz Ladies assistant captain, Solaty Fatimoh was an instrumental to the club first Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) win against Naija Ratels.

The Lagos-based side defeated Naija Ratels 2-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday.

Solaty solidified the control of the game to give Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi led team run for their money.

The dedicated striker disclosed that the win against Naija Ratels was a call to actions for her and the team.

“I’m very happy about it and it’s a wake up call for us because I believed we can do better than that, and we still have big matches ahead of us so we have to keep working hard and not allow the win to get to our head,” she said.

On playing against Super Falcons Captain, Solaty applauded the veteran leadership skills.

She said, “It was a great honor playing against her. Her dedication to the team is what we young and upcoming players are looking up to.”
