Bankole Olowookere to continue as U17 Women National Team coach

Naija Ratels gaffer, Bankole Olowookere is set to depart the Abuja based club after over four years at the helms of affairs.

Olowookere led the Abuja based side to the final of the President Federation Cup thereby losing by a lone goal to Rivers Angels.

According a reliable source who pleaded anonymity said Olowookere will leave Naija Ratels this summer after relating the decision to the players.

The source added the next destination of the Flamingos head is unknown.

“I can confidently tell you that Coach Bankole will leave Naija Ratels this summer because the players and technical crew have been informed of the decision.

“Though we don’t know the club he wants to go but I can assure you that he will leave the club.”

Olowookere set a record to become the first Nigeria gaffer to lead the Flamingos to a third place finish at the U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup in India in 2022.
