Bayelsa Queens’ goalkeeper, Monle Omini, has emphasized the need for her team to develop greater resilience if they are to reach their full potential at the ongoing Nigeria Women Football League Super Six tournament.

Omini’s call to action comes after a narrow victory against Nasarawa Amazons in their second match, following a draw in their first game against Rivers Angels.

“We’re on the right track, We’re following the coaches’ instructions, but we just need to dig a little deeper and put in more effort if we want to go further in the competition,” she said.

The hard-fought win against Nasarawa Amazons has positioned Bayelsa Queens with 4 points in the standings.

Their next hurdle will be against Confluence Queens, and Omini’s emphasis on resilience suggests a determined Bayelsa Queens outfit is prepared for the challenge.
