Egba Patriots FC Set To Hold Open Screening

Ogun State based Egba Patriots Football Club has concluded arrangements to host a screening exercise for footballers who intend to set a career path.

As contained in a club statement, the screening exercise is opened to Male footballers who are at least 16, and not more than 20-year-old.

The club further confirmed that the exercise will take place at the Football pitch, Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta between Tuesday, 10th September, and Saturday, 14th September, 2024.

The screening is segmented into two sessions, 7am-11am, and between 3pm and 6pm daily under the supervision of certified technocrats.

Temporary Accomodation will be provided for selected players within the period of screening while players cater for their feeding.

President of Egba Patriots Football Club Engineer Sodrudeen Ayodeji revealed that the screening affords the selected few an opportunity of becoming bonafide players of the club.

He said the intention is to open a career path for youths in order for them achieve their dreams.

“Nigeria is blessed with a whole lot of talents, what they lack often times is the platform, and that’s what we are offering for them to grow”

“By the time we are done with the screening, the selected few will come onboard as players of Egba Patriots, so it’s the beginning of a proper football career for them”

“We intend to offer them a route towards hitting the top, and hopefully a lot of the kids across Nigeria can key into this”.

For further details ahead of the screening, the club will communicate via its official X handle @EgbapatriotsFC , or call/Whatsapp 08034053323, 09024110627 or 08036057840
