A renowned spiritual leader Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a stern warning against the Nigerian striker potential move to Chelsea.
The cleric, who has a history of making bold predictions on national issues, cautioned that such a transfer could spell disaster for Osimhen’s burgeoning career.
In a 44-second video shared on social media, Primate Ayodele delivered a direct message to the Napoli forward.
“I want to quickly advise as directly that Osimhen not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine, and it will kill his career,” Ayodele stated emphatically.
The cleric’s concerns extend beyond club football. He also issued a warning to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), advising them to reconsider Osimhen’s involvement with the national team if the striker joins the Premier League giants.
“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be previewed properly because we have what it takes to the World Cup and Nations Cup,” he added.
Osimhen, who has been a standout performer for Napoli, is on the radar of several top European clubs, with Chelsea reportedly leading the race for his signature.
