D’tigress head coach Rena Wakama has won the best coach of the women basketball at the just concluded Olympic in Paris.
The 32 year old took the Nigeria female basketball team to the quarter final of the Paris 2024. Which no coach both male and female have qualified any African nation to the quarter finals of any Olympics tournament.

Wakama’s impressive coaching skills and leadership have earned her the award for the best coach in the female basketball category at the just concluded Olympic in France.
She qualified D’tigress from a tough group which includes France, Canada and Australia winning two out of three.
She have been commended for the job done for the D’tigress so far. She has previously leads the D’tigress to win the women Afro basketball championship this year and also qualify them to the Olympic.
