Tojemarine Academy Falters On Day 7 of Ardova Handball Premier League 2023

Tojemarine Academy, Monday, faltered on their bid to keep up leap pass Niger United and they lost to a well prepared Rima Strikers on day 7 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 phase 2 in Lagos.

Commiting several turnovers, Tojemarine Academy couldn’t pull the chestnut of the fire as they lost to a more determined Rima Strikers 24-23 while Confluence Stars did their business well as they earned a 28-23 victory over Correction Boys.

Kano Pillars defeated Bendel Dynamos 37-30.

In the women category, former champion Plateau Peacocks defeated Rima Queens 20-14 while Seasider Babes came back to winning ways as they won Bayelsa Queens 35-30.

Safety Babes continue to lead the league as they defeated Imo Grasshoppers 31-24 while Defender Babes comfortably defeated Benue Queens 34-19.

The last match saw Delta Queens win the Bendel Derby as they defeated rival Bendel Dynamos 30-28.

1) Correction Boys–Confluence Stars 23–28.
2) Bendel Dynamos–Kano Pillars 30–37.
3) Tojemarine Academy–Rima Strikers 23–24.

FEMALE
1) Plateau Peacocks–Rima Queens 20–14.
2) Bayelsa Queens–Seasider Babes 30–35.
3) Safety Babes–Imo Grasshoppers 31–24.
4) Benue Queens–Defender Babes 19–34.
5) Bendel Dynamos–Delta Queens 28–30.
