We are rooting for Edo Queens – SNWFSC backs NWFL Champions to Win WAFU B Champions League 

Edo Queens set new NWFL records

The Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club (SNWFSC) is backing Edo Queens to win the Wafu B Champions League Qualifier in Ivory Coast.

The Benin Ladies are Nigeria’s representative to the regional showpiece after winning the NWFL Premiership title for the first time in their history.

SNWFSC President, Jadesola Adelabu urged Nigerians in their numbers to show support to Edo Queens. She’s optimistic the team will come out victorious in Ivory Coast and qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League group stage.

“I’m urging Nigerians to give their support to Edo Queens as they compete in the Wafu B Champions League in Ivory Coast. 

“It won’t be easy but I’m certain the team will come out victorious and bring the trophy back home. They have prepared well for this and  I’m hopeful of them winning the title and thereby qualifying for the CAF Women’s Champions League group stage.

“We are rooting for Edo Queens to win the Wafu B Champions League. They will be flying the Nigeria’s flag high in Ivory Coast.”

Edo Queens are drawn in group B of the Wafu B Champions League alongside, Hasaacas Ladies (Ghana), Omnisports Etincele (Burkina Faso) and AS Garde National (Niger).
