Taiwo Afolabi happy to make Super Falconets final squad 

Delta Queens captain, Taiwo Afolabi has revealed her happiness to make the final squad for the Super Falconets.

Afolabi among the 19 players for the doubled leg fixtures against Tanzania.

She said, “Glad to continue my elevation in my career as I made the final cut to represent Nigeria in the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup double header qualifier against Tanzania. Alhamdullilah.”

The Falconets’ contingent will depart Nigeria on Friday aboard an Ethiopian Airways flight to Addis Ababa and onwards to Dar es Salaam, where they clash with the Tanzanian U20 girls on Sunday. Both teams will again trade tackles at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Sunday, 19th November 2023.
