Beyond Limits, FA are celebrating after clinching the 2023/2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) title. The team secured victory through a penalty shootout (4-3) following a thrilling 2-2 draw against Nasarawa United in the final.
The Ikenne-based club took the lead early on from the penalty spot thanks to Farouq Ogundare’s strike in the 28th minute. However, Nasarawa United fought back quickly, with Anas Yusuf equalizing just four minutes later.
The second half saw another quick goal, with Ayodele Shina putting them back in front with a powerful header in the 46th minute. But Nasarawa United wouldn’t be denied, as they grabbed another equalizer in the 77th minute to force the game into penalties.

In the nerve-wracking penalty shootout, Beyond Limits held their composure to convert four penalties, while Nasarawa United missed one. This dramatic finish secured the NNL title for Beyond Limits.

Beyond Limits Impressive runs
This victory adds to Beyond Limits’ impressive recent run. They previously dominated The Creative Championship (TCC), a local competition focused on youth development. They even secured an international cup win in Italy earlier this year. Now, they can proudly display the NNL trophy alongside their other achievements.

Beyond Limits, along with Nasarawa United, Ikorodu City FC, and Elkanemi Warriors, will all gain promotion to the prestigious Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.
