Fountain University in Osogbo is set to host the Southwest Zonal Elimination Playoff for the National Youth Games.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayinka Ramata Karim, has pledged the university’s full support for the event.

Professor Karim, a sports enthusiast herself, expressed gratitude for the choice of Fountain University as a host venue and assured the visiting officials of the university’s commitment to providing necessary support.

She emphasized the importance of adhering to the university’s Islamic principles during the competition.

Professor Ramata said, “I want to appeal to the Directors to advise the athletes to abide by the rules and ethics of the university during their stay for the competition Fountain University is an Islamic institution and all activities are guided by Almighty Allah’s principles.”

The zonal coordinator and the General Manager of Osun State Sports Council expressed their appreciation for the university’s cooperation and pledged to abide by the institution’s rules.
