NWFL: Saheed Afolabi resigns as Robo Queens Media officer

Ahead of the kick-off of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), the media officer of Robo Queens, Saheed Afolabi, has resigned from his position.

The Media expert joined the Lagos-based side in September 2021 and officially resigned on Monday.

Reacting after his resignation, Saheed told NAIRA SPORTS that the decision was thoroughly considered for his professional career.

He said, “I officially resign my position as the media officer of FC Robo Queens; this decision was carefully taken as I surge ahead in my professional career.

“I and the club have shared fantastic moments together, which will last a long time. I wish the club all the best and trophy-lade years ahead.”

Robo Queens was drawn in group B alongside the defending champions, Delta Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Remo Stars Ladies, Ekiti Queens, and Sunshine Queens.
