Shooting Stars FC (3SC) secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Abia Warriors at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on matchday 34 of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).

The “Oluyole Warriors” put on a dazzling display under the floodlights, showcasing complete control against their opponents. Despite a flurry of attempts in the first half, the score remained tied at 0-0. However, the second half brought an explosion of goals for 3SC.

Alex Aghahowo opened the scoring in the 72nd minute, followed by Taofeek Malomo’s goal nine minutes later to double the lead. The onslaught continued with Christian Pyagbara netting the third goal in the 85th minute.

Not content with a three-goal advantage, 3SC continued pressing and secured a final goal through Adam Mustapha in stoppage time. This flurry of four goals within the last 25 minutes sealed the emphatic victory for the home side.

With this win, 3SC maintains their hold on fourth place in the league table with 56 points, five points behind leaders Rangers International. Their next challenge is a trip to Port Harcourt to face Rivers United before a crucial home encounter against the league leader.
