Arrangements have been concluded for the 2024 South West Athletics Conference, tagged “Abeokuta SWAC 2024.”
Organized by the South West Zone of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), the event will be held from July 3rd to 6th, 2024, at the Providence Hotel in Abeokuta.
According to a statement by Mr. Biodun Alabi, Media Coordinator for the South West Athletics Conference, the keynote speaker will be Professor Olatunde Makanju, a Professor of Psychology at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Among the special guests are Chief Segun Odegbami, former Super Eagles captain, and Chief Bukola Olopade, founder of Nilayo Sports Management.
The statement also noted that Senator Olamilekan Adeola, representing Ogun West Senatorial district, will serve as the Conference Chairman.
The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, will be the Chief Host and Special Guest of Honour.
