Former Super Falcons player Esther Edem, Applauds Falcons Victory over Cameroon

Former Super Falcons dependable defender, Esther Edem, has applauded her former teammates’ incredible performance and victory over Cameroon in Abuja on Monday.

While speaking with newsmen, Edem commended the Falcons’ efforts and urged them to perform better in the next matches.

“This is a good performance from my former teammates. I’m really impressed with their performance, and I urge them to keep up the momentum and secure victory in the next game. I’m strongly with them in spirit; I believe in them, and they will definitely continue to raise the flag high,” she disclosed.

Esther Edem emphasized her confidence in the Super Falcons, noting that her former teammates will surely win their next game and secure the CAF Women’s Olympic qualifier.

Esther Okoronkwo’s 14th-minute strike proved decisive in the return leg of the CAF Women’s Olympic qualifier against Cameroon.

With this victory, the Super Falcons of Nigeria have advanced to the fourth round of the CAF Women’s Olympic qualifier. They are now set to face the winner between South Africa or Tanzania in April.
