Paris FC Thrash Guingamp 4-0, Nnadozie Shines with Penalty Save

Paris FC continued their stellar run in Division 1 Féminine, dismantling Guingamp 4-0 on Saturday. Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie played a pivotal role in the victory, making three crucial saves, including a penalty stop, to shut down any hopes of a Guingamp comeback.

Nnadozie’s heroics started early, denying Aissata Traore’s penalty kick in a pivotal moment. This momentum shift was immediately capitalized on by Daphne Corboz, who put Paris FC on the board in the 28th minute.

The floodgates then opened for the home side as Gaëtane Thiney doubled their lead with a penalty just three minutes later. Thiney wasn’t done, adding another goal two minutes after the penalty to put Paris FC firmly in control at 3-0 by halftime.

Guingamp attempted to fight back in the second half, but Paris FC’s defense remained resolute, denying them any clear scoring opportunities. The visitors continued to dictate the tempo, and their persistence paid off in the 54th minute when Kessya Bussy netted a fourth goal to seal the emphatic victory.

While Traore’s missed penalty proved a turning point, Paris FC‘s dominance was undeniable. Their superior ball control and passing throughout the match highlighted the gulf in class between the two sides.

With this convincing win, Paris FC solidified their position near the top of the Division 1 Féminine table. Guingamp, on the other hand, will need to regroup and find answers to bounce back from this disappointing performance.
