The newly promoted, Elkanemi Warriors beat Abia Warriors to win the President Federation Cup final for 2024.
The desert warriors triumphed with a 2-0 victory, thanks to a standout performance from Nasiru Salihu as his brace helped El-kanemi Warriors to defeat Abia of Umuahia.
El-kanemi warriors missed a penalty taken by Nasiru Salihu before he eventually scored just before the first 45 minutes of the match.
He found the net in the 67th minute of the game thanks to teamwork from his colleagues.
The El-kanemi warriors missed many chances in both halves of the match, while the Abia warriors struggled to maintain control.
They will be joined by Enyimba to represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
