Lagos Rugby Secondary Schools tournament

The inaugural Lagos Rugby Secondary Schools tournament tagged the ‘Governors Cup’ amidst glamour and great aura has finally ended with Ojoku High School winning gold in the round robin contest of the U-18 girls category.

The competition is an initiative of the Lagos State Rugby Association in partnership with Ibudo Academy aimed at youths in the state and it’s set to become an annual competition amongst secondary schools across the five divisions of the state.

The highly anticipated two day event started on October 18 and it ended yesterday 19th with at the CMS Grammar School, Bariga.

There were participation from fifteen secondary schools in the U18 and U15 age categories both in the boys’ and girls’ as each teams put up a valiant outing in the fiercely contested championship.
