Remo Stars Coach Daniel Ogunmodede has given his squad a motivational speech ahead of the southwest derby in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match day six.
In an Ikenne club video that was shared on social media, Ogunmodede stressed how crucial it is to gain confidence and make fewer mistakes in the early going in the league.
He encouraged the players by stating, “I want us to go more in the league that will have enough confidence before we start receiving the ball inside. If we make too many mistakes in the early hours of the game, it will take away our confidence. It will look like the formation is not working.”
Acknowledging the doubts that may exist among some players, he assured them, “I know that some of you don’t have faith in it, you may be asking yourself if this thing will work, It will work because I am seeing it. You only want to enjoy yourself. I wanted the result more than you As a coach.”
Remo Stars will host Shooting Stars in NPFL on Wednesday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
